The story of Piotra Juralewicza - his deportation from Grodno to Siberia, joining the army of General Wladyslaw Anders and service in the Polish II Corps.

Piotr Juralewicz was deported from Grodno to Siberia. He worked at a Soviet kolkhoz in northern Kazakhstan. He volunteered to serve in the General Anders' army and was evacuated to the Middle East, and later to England. He took part in the great battles fought in Normandy within General Maczek's 1st Armoured Division, after which his battalion was named „Bloody Shirts”.
