The exhibition „Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom” at the Regional Memorial Education Center, a branch of the Tarnów District Museum, is the next stage of its presentation in the Tarnów area, after Wola Rzedzinska.

The exhibition is available in a special place, on the grounds of the former barracks (the so-called „lower barracks”), where the 16th infantry regiment of the Polish Army was stationed in the interwar period.

The Regional Memorial Education Center, which is the headquarters of the World Union of Home Army Soldiers and where meetings and conferences are held, also collects World War II memorabilia, photographs, documents and unique artifacts, such as the uniform of Brigadier General Zygmunt Zawadzki-Odrowąż, a soldier in the Polish II Corps in Italy. Visitors to the exhibition can take part in educational workshops regarding the fate of Poles during World War II.

In the mobile historical game „Polish Underground State” played in Tarnow on September 26, 2022, 150 young participants, using information from the exhibition „Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom” performed tasks relating to the Polish Armed Forces in the West. The awarding ceremony by Dr. Karol Nawrocki, president of the Institute of National Remembrance, took place before a gala concert dedicated to Colonel Franciszek Niepokólczycki pseud. „Teodor”. The game and concert were prepared by the Krakow Branch of the IPN.

The rollup version of the exhibition will be presented by June 2023 in all secondary schools in Tarnów County, including Zakliczyn, Ciężkowice, Tuchów, Wojnicz, Gromnik, Mościce and Dąbrowa Tarnowska.
