The Roncesvalles Polish Festival was held in Ontario, Canada on September 17-18. During this festival, the exhibition „Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom” was displayed in the Parish Hall of St. Casimir's Church in Toronto, which is located on the main Roncesvalles Avenue. The exhibition was open to provincial residents and foreign visitors. Furthermore the IPN’s Office of International Cooperation provided educational materials and publications which were presented during the festival. Games and puzzles were of great interest to Polish children in Canada.

Organizers reported that more than 500,000 people visited the event during the festival weekend.  The Roncesvalles Polish Festival, included fan favorites, like Polka and pierogi, in conjunction with a fresh focus to celebrate a broader range of local artists and musicians. It has been one of Toronto's largest celebrations of food, art and Polish heritage in the city's best neighborhood, Roncesvalles Village, and in the entire Ontario State, which is home for over than half million people with Polish heritage.

The Polish community is one of the most numerous groups in Ontario. This great group of Canadians of Polish origin has been participating in building Canada for generations to enrich its culture and heritage and become integral part of its multicultural community. On the anniversary of the May 3, 1791 Constitution, every year in Ontario, May is Polish Heritage Month.
